Often we are asked what the difference is between embroidery and screen printing. It is simple. Embroidery uses thread and needles and screen printing uses ink.

Before we begin your embroidery project, you must submit a logo or design to Make Your Mark. Please email us your design for a free quote.

Once we have your design, we will digitize it and then email a computer generated embroidery design for your approval before we begin stitching. We feel confident that you will be pleased with our digitizing. However, if you would like to make changes to the design, this is your chance to tweak it.

Digitizing is a time-consuming professional skill and there is a one-time fee associated with it. Digitizing is priced by your design stitch count and is calculated at a rate of $6.00 per thousand stitches. An average design is 8,000 stitches or less.

Some elements of a print design must be modified in order to transfer successfully to an embroidered design. Things that might be altered on your logo to create an embroidery design
